What Causes White Hair?
Grey/white/silver hair is caused due to lack of pigment cells called Melanin, which gives your tresses their color. When your body stops producing melanin, hair becomes gray, white, or silver and lose shine& moisture.
When your hair grows, melanin is injected it, by itself which gives it(hair)color. With age, the amount of Melaninthat is injected into each strand of hair gets reduced, which is why it turns gray and eventually white.
The occurrence of white hair is determined by the following factors.
White hair might be due to genes. It can happen at any age. Some get white hair age before teen while some in their mid-40’s.

1. Amla Powder/Oil For White Hair
Gooseberry has a rich reserve of vitamin C which repairs damaged hair. It has antioxidants, which has anti-aging benefits and revitalizes the pigment in your hair follicles It also gives your dark hair a lustrous shine.
Take 3-4 Dried Indian Gooseberries (Amla) along with 1 cup Coconut Oil. Now boil the berries with coconut oil to prepare an oil solution. Store this oil in a jar. Massage the oil into your scalp. Leave the oil on foratleast30 minutes or overnight. Wash off with a mild shampoo.
2. Black Tea
Black tea has antioxidant, which has anti-aging benefits and revitalizes the pigment in your hair follicles and inhibits the growth of white hair. It also helps darken hair color.
Take 2 tbsp Black Tea boil it with 1 cup Wateruntil it is well brewed. Set it aside to cool. Then strain the liquid and apply it to your hair and scalp. Massage your scalp for a few minutes and wait for about an hour with the tea in your hair. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
3. Curry Leaves
Curry leaves are a rich source of vitamin B and vitamin A which help restore the melanin pigment in your hair follicles.
Take a handful of Curry Leaves and boil it with 3tbsp Coconut Oil. Set the oil aside to cool. Strain the oil and massage it into your scalp for at least 20 minutes. Leave the oil on for atleast30 minutes or overnight. Wash off with a mild shampoo.
4. Castor Oil With Mustard Oil For White Hair
Mustard oil is a rich source of essential minerals that help maintain the health and color of your hair.
Mix 1 tbsp Castor Oil with 2 tbsp Mustard Oil then slightly warm it. Massage this oil onto your scalp and hair. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes or leave it overnight. Then rinse off.
5. Fenugreek Seeds For White Hair
Fenugreek is enriched with nutrients like vitamin C, iron, potassium, and lysine. These nutrients prevent premature graying and also help in hair growth and preventing scalp dryness
Soak 2 tbsp Fenugreek Seeds in water overnight inb1/4 cup Water. In the morning grind the seeds with enough water to make a smooth, consistent paste.
Apply this mixture to your hair and scalp and leave it on for about 1 hour. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
6. Onion Juice For White Hair
Onion juice reduces hair fall. It also helps to reverse the gray hair and improve the health of your hair.
Take 1 Medium Sized Onion chop into small pieces. Squeeze the juice out of the pulp using a cloth. Blend it with 1 tbsp Olive Oil.
Apply this juice onto your scalp and massage for about 10 minutes. Leave the juice on for at least 30-35 minutes. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
