Being a human you must also help animals. They are mute, they won’t ask you for any help but you might make sure to not harm them if you can’t help them.

1. Keep them indoor
When it’s cold outside no one prefers to go outside. We all prefer to stay inside our homes. The same applies to your pets. Don’t let them go outside in the freezing cold. They might catch any cold.
2. Feed well
We need a healthy diet to maintain a healthy body. So does our pets require. Feed them well with a healthy and nutritional diet. Ask your vet for the proper food for your pet. Don’t overfeed your pet as it will end up in trouble for your pet.
3. Wrap them up properly
God has blessed your pets with thick fur, but they feel cold too. Whether your pet is inside or outside, wrap them properly so that his body remains warm. There are too many clothes choices available for different pets in different sizes.
Cover their paws with boots and their bodies with warm t-shirts or coats.
4. Never shave their fur
Their fur protects them from the outside weather. Never shave their fur, as it protects their skin from direct contact with the weather.
5. Don’t let them stay outside for long
Let your pets play in the sunlight, but not for too long. In winter the sunlight also has a cold breeze. It will affect the health of your pet.
6. Change their drinking water frequently
Pets also feel less thirsty in winter and if they find their drinking water cold then they won’t drink it. So change the drinking water in 3-4 hours.
7. Check their paws after a walk
Outside the roads are cold. So check their paws after a walk and apply petroleum jelly on their paws. Remove, if anything is stuck in their paws.
8. Ensure their bed is warm
They also want a warm place to sleep. Don’t let them sleep on the floor. Provide them space with proper bedding areas and blankets.
If you have birds cover their cage with a shawl or blanket.
9. Never take your pet for a walk just after the bath
Just after bathing their fur is wet and if they come in contact with the outside weather they will catch a cold easily.
10. Regularly visit to vet
Visit your vet once in a year for a regular check-up.
