Take any of the essential oils like rosemary, lavender, etc. Add 3-4 drops of essential oil in 2 tablespoons of coconut or olive oil. Massage it onto your scalp. Leave it overnight then wash it off.
2. Onion Juice for hair growth
Onion contains sulfur that boosts collagen production in the tissues and helps in the re-growth of hair. This is one of the oldest and the most efficient home remedies for hair growth. Cut a few slices of onion. Blend the pieces and squeeze out their juice. Mix the juice with coconut oil. Apply it on your scalp. Leave it for 30 minutes. Finally, rinse off with a mild shampoo.
3. Coconut Milk for natural hair growth
Coconut milk is a rich source of iron, potassium and essential fats. It helps in stimulating hair growth. Take coconut milk from a fresh coconut then add 1tablespoon of lime juice, 4 drops of essential lavender oil in it. Mix it evenly and apply it on your scalp, leave it on for 4-5 hours and then rinse it off.
4. Apple Cider Vinegar
It cleanses the scalp and maintains the pH balance of the hair hence accelerate hair growth. Make a diluted solution by mixing 75ml of cider vinegar in one liter of water. After washing your hair, give a final rinse by using a cup of this solution. You can store it for further use.
5. Egg Mask
Eggs contain high levels of proteins that help in the stimulation of hair growth and the formation of new hair. It is also rich in selenium, sulfur, zinc, phosphorous and iodine. The vitamins A, E, and D present in it reduce hair fall and improve hair’s health. For the egg mask, separate one egg white in a bowl and add one teaspoon of olive oil and honey. Mix them and make a paste of and apply it all over your hair and scalp. Let it sit for about 20 minutes. Rinse it off with cool water and mild shampoo.
6. Henna For Hair Growth
Henna is a natural conditioner that transforms dull and dry hair into smooth and shiny hair. It also adds color to your hair. It also promotes hair growth by strengthening the roots of your hair. For this take 1 cup dry henna mix it with 1/2 cup yogurt. Apply it all over your hair from the roots to ends. Let it dries completely. Then wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
Fenugreek contains proteins and nicotinic acid which stimulates hair growth. Soak a handful of fenugreek seeds in water overnight. In the morning blend it in a mixer and add coconut oil in it. Apply this solution onto your scalp. Rest it for 45 minutes. Then wash it off.
8. Green Tea
Green tea is a super-rich source of antioxidants that helps in boosting hair growth and preventing hair loss. Soak the 1 or 2 tea bags in 2 cups of hot water for 7-8 minutes. Apply warm green tea all over your scalp. Leave it on for an hour. Wash it off with cold water.
9. Indian Gooseberry (amla)
Amla is a powerhouse of nutrients. It is rich in Vitamin C which accelerates hair growth. Take 2 teaspoons amla powder or amla juice mix it with 2 teaspoons lime juice. Apply this mixture on your scalp and let it dry. Rinse your hair well.
10. Hibiscus For Hair Growth
Hibiscus used in herbal medicine for curing dandruff and enhancing hair growth. Its radical scavenging properties, vitamin C content, and emollient properties are helpful in maintaining healthy hair. Take 2 hibiscus flowers and 2 tablespoons coconut oil OR sesame oil. Make a paste of hibiscus flowers with coconut oil or sesame oil. Apply it on your hair and leave it on for at least half an hour. Then rinse with a mild shampoo.
11. Curry Leaves
Curry leaves are rich in phosphorus, iron, calcium, vitamin A, and vitamin Cand hence they promote hair growth and prevent premature graying. Take a handful of fresh curry leaves to add them to 1/2 cup coconut oil. Heat this up until the leaves become black. Once the black residue has formed then remove the oil from the flame. Let it cool down then strain the oil. Apply this oil to the scalp and hair and massage the scalp for a couple of minutes. Rest it on for an hour and then rinse your hair as usual.
